It has its advantages and disadvantages. It allow us to perform our duties and activities quicker, effectively and efficiently. In addition, it allows us to complete tasks without difficulties, however family values are diminishing, and being replaced by spending time on the phone, computer,and ipod. Family time seem to be the last option and all the technological gadgets are priority.
From a traditional teacher point of view i would say that it has both advantage and disadvantage in life because today our students are using technology for not for educational purposes but for things that are contrary to education(Sexual representation).
It all depends how we look at it. If I look at it as an individual and a student, I can say that it has added to the quality of life. It is easy to get information and to communicate with other when preparing class work. Being informed is a good thing so you can always make sound decision. But as a parent, I believe, that if not monitored it can lead to serious distraction and misleading. Case in point, because of our promiscuous society, men are constantly praying on young girls and it seems to be alright and some people don’t see it as a bad thing; maybe that is the reason why things are so out of hand in this country. Believe it or not, cell phones make it easy for men to entice young girl. I have an 11 year old and she is not allowed to have one. I speak to her everyday and tell her that in due time she will get one. Maybe when she is 15 and graduating from high school; she is 12 and is 1st form. Not because everyone has one, she needs one but I we will not be there with her always to see what she does with it or who calls or sends her messages when we are asleep. So as you see it has its advantages and disadvantages.
Like everything it has is advantages and disadvantages. Technology has allowed us to access a variety of information easily. However, it has allowed us to loose face to face contact with one another. Instead of visiting friends or sending handwritten letters we chat online or simply send an e-mail. This is the case in both our professional and personal lives.
For me i think technology have been a great help to our life style and which allow us to become advance in many ways. with technology is have made life more easier and less stressful and get work done much more faster. over all technology will always be a plus to our life style because if it wasn't then we would have not invented it.
